Objectives

Most vulnerable people affected by humanitarian crises have enhanced access to portable drinking water, sanitation facilities and use hygienic practices.

Most vulnerable people affected by humanitarian crises have increased access to basic needs and assisted through livelihood support packages for income generation.

Key Strategies

  • Provide sufficient, safe, and accessible water rehabilitation of existing wells and construction of new water sources, and establishment of solar-power supply schemas/networks;
  • Provide sanitation facilities (latrines and bathing spaces) through rehabilitation of existing and/or construction of new facilities;
  • Provide multipurpose cash (unrestricted) assistance and short-term employment opportunities through cash for work to have immediate access to resources;
  • Provide livelihood support packages based on existing expertise, skills, and profession to support income generation;
  • Provide timely and relevant humanitarian assistance (food and non-food items) to affected population;
  • Provide durable solutions to the affected people (IDPs and returnees) to improve their living condition and enable them to live with dignity;
  • Rising public awareness about GBV, COVID-19 and hygiene practices along with provision of hygiene/dignity/water kits;
